Eric Hughes is a seasoned construction and remodeling professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience spanning high-end residential kitchens and bathrooms, restaurant build-outs, commercial office renovations, and exterior projects. His foundation in design runs deep — rooted in architectural drafting and mechanical engineering studies beginning in high school, continued at Triton College and College of DuPage, and further shaped by firsthand study of how cultures around the world utilize space, light, and materials.

Eric's deliberate path through the trades — from carpentry and general contracting to material supply chain management and insurance restoration — gave him a comprehensive, ground-up understanding of every phase of a build, which he channels today as owner-operator of Cutting Edge Kitchen & Bath. Clients return to Eric because he personally oversees every project from concept to completion, bringing a rare blend of technical precision, creative vision, and genuine accountability that consistently turns their ideas into spaces they love.
